NHS poem

Hi everyone,

It’s been a long time since I last wrote a blog post but thought now was the right time to get back into it.

As the Coronavirus pandemic is spreading havoc across the world I wanted to write a poem to say thanks to all the NHS staff. Hope you all enjoy!

It’s a time of struggle, a time of strife.

Thank you for helping to save lives.

The struggles, the sacrifices, the effort that you make.

You only do them purely for our sake.

Here we are with the crisis in our midst.

Through hard work, compassion, caring nature, many hearts seem to lift.

Thank you for giving, thank you for caring.

We know this time can be quite overbearing .

Thank you for giving, thank you for caring.

The kindness in your hearts with the world you are sharing.

Thank you for giving, thank you for caring.

In the midst of constant compassion our eyes are staring.

Thank you for giving, thank you for caring.

Thank you for stopping many hearts from tearing.

Thank you for giving, thank you for caring.

Now let’s help others and see how they are faring.
