Here I am playing with my toys.
The sound of crying a beautiful noise.
Arms outstretched, wanting to be held by my mother.
The love she has for me is just like no other.
My toys are here beside me and I want to play.
At this stage, at this moment, at this time I want to pause and stay.
I’m crying and wailing as I am full of hunger and thirst.
As my mother feed me, love in the heart begins to burst.
Hunger and thirst satisfied and subsided.
This beautiful family is clearly not divided.
Toddling away, life is all about eating and playing.
Life really isn’t simple is what I’m saying.
This is a great second part! Really enjoying reading your lifetime memories poem Faisal, you are very talented and this is perfectly written. Looking forward to part 3 already ❤ xx

I love that your poem comes from life as a toddler. It’s always nice when parents were there for us when we were little. Life was great!
