Hi everyone and thanks again for visiting my blog.
I’m sorry it has been so long but just thought I would give my amazing followers an update since my last blog.
Unfortunately I didn’t get into the Asics Front runner UK team. The week before the results were announced, I was always eagerly checking my emails and to be honest I didn’t realise just how much I wanted it until this point. When I got the email to say I didn’t get in, I was totally gutted and I still felt gutted a couple of days later.
On the other hand though, I decided to turn the disappointment into a positive. If anything the disappointment has motivated me to run more and made me stronger. I’ve entered more races now, helped at our club couch to 5k supporting new runners and have started to post more on Instagram in the hope of inspiring more people and in that sense it has made me happier.
The point I’m trying to make in this post is that in our disappointments, there can always be positives if we look for them and find them.
Thanks for reading!
Faisal
I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t get into your running team. But your positive response is lovely to read about. Keep up the great work 😀

It’s understandable how you feel. Unfortunately in previous years when I had a vision in my mind of how I wanted my life to go and what to do to achieve it, then I was motivated at the start but as soon as something went wrong or I was struggling then I gave up. The thing is though even the most successful and brilliant people failed not once, not twice and not even three times. It’s uncountable times! But you know what makes them successful? Never giving up! Good luck on your journey 😊
